The Pakistani society is indeed very male-dominated. From deciding on the fate of a girl child to be buried alive to leaving behind everything else in a race to earn money, men is accused of so many wrongdoings. But is it always so? I don’t think so. A more recent example is of a drama serial Pujaran on TV One that came as an eye opener for me.

When Women Broke the Norms

There are very few campaigns that leave an ever lasting impact on your mind. One of those campaigns is #BreakTheNorm. The campaign is all about appreciating women who do daring things. When I explored the hashtag a bit deeper, I found out about so many wonderful Pakistani women who standout from the crowd due to their exceptional acts or talent. From Arfa Kareem to the first female truck driver of Pakistan, the hashtag was full of motivational pictures and stories.

I am one of those people who are addicted to online shopping. However, I still somehow find it really difficult to trust a vendor online. This time around, while scrolling my Facebook timeline I came across some really amazing footwear with a touch of modernism and tradition at the same time. Amazed by the beautiful designs and finesse, I inquired the admin of KAARIGAR about the prices and the procedure to place an order.
