Serving size; 4 pancakes, enough for 2 people
Ingredients:
· All-purpose Flour: 1 cup
· Butter/margarine/ghee: 2 Tbsp.
· Sugar: 2 Tbsp.
· Baking Powder: 2 ½ tsp.
· Salt: ½ tsp.
· Milk: 1 ¼ cup
· Egg: 1 large
· Oil/ghee for brushing the pan
Recipe:
1. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
2. Stir it with the help of a wire whisk until the mixture seems homogeneous
3. Add in milk, butter/ghee/margarine and egg
4. Stir again until the batter is smooth in texture
5. Take a cup of this batter and pour it in the brushed frying pan, if the pan is non-stick, you can minimize the usage of oil (btw I don’t use a cup to measure the batter and just pour it directly in the pan)
6. When bubbles start to emerge, check for the light brown color on the lower side of the pan cake
7. When done from one side, flip it carefully with the help of a spatula
Serve with honey/crème/Hershey’s chocolate or strawberry syrup or bananas and tada!!
