And this is exactly what Djuice (Telenor Pakistan) has done. With its new online film’s official teaser, “Oye Kuch Kar Guzar”, the brand has successfully garnered a lot of attention online. It all started when Mangobaaz shared a teaser of the movie that sparked a city war amongst Pakistanis. Though some seemed to be excited about the trend, the others couldn’t help but criticize. All in all, the hashtag #OyeKuchKarGuzar received a phenomenal response.

Oye Kuch Kar Guzar is the first ever online movie in Pakistan which will be released on YouTube. Considering its target audience, which is youth, the online film will let the viewers to decide their own version of the story. Moreover, the alternate endings of each episode will keep viewers hooked to the online platform. To create even more curiosity, there will be annotations and end screens, which will keep the audience guessing what is going to happen next.
Oye Kuch Kar Guzar is a new step towards exploring online media in a new direction altogether making Djuice the first ever brand to get on YouTube after the three year ban on the network, which was lifted last year. Hopefully, more brands will come up with engaging and interactive content on this burgeoning social networking site.
