Celebrating the Unsung Heroes of Pakistan

Pakistan is a land of talented people. Every day, an uncelebrated hero does something that surprises the human mind and creates a difference in the lives of people. However, not all of these gems get acknowledged for all their efforts.

Thanks to Altas Battery for their recent campaign “Sparkistan” where they are highlighting Pakistanis who have done something remarkable for the nation. For this purpose, a team travelled across Pakistan to find these heroes. After collecting the notable profiles, the team compiled the stories and started promoting the success stories through social media. This has resulted in creating awareness about the spark in these exceptional people and have given them the fame they truly deserve.

The first phase of Sparkistan has garnered a lot of attention. And this is the reason, Atlas Battery came up with the second season of Sparkistan, where they will be featuring a new hero each week to cover all 15 talent people. Among these heroes is Nazir Sabir who hails from Hunza. Sabir is one of those people who fall in love with mountains and defeating them by conquering the heights becomes their passion. To satiate his thirst, Sabir has already climbed the Mount Everest and four out of five 8000 m peaks in Pakistan. He climbed the Mount Everest on 177th May, 2000 and become the first ever Pakistani to do so. Then he went on to climb the second highest peak in Pakistan in 1981, Gasherbrum II 8035m Broad Peak 8050m in 1982, and Gasherbrum I (Hidden Peak) 8068m in 1992.
Here is the video of Nazir Sabir
Cannot wait to read another exciting story of #Sparkistan next week!
