A Roundup of #FPW16: Day 2

After the happening Day 1 of #FPW16, it was time for the day 2. We got to know about the line up just before the show which was comparatively well-organized and got more and more interesting as it inched towards the finale. To me, it was the most fashionable day of all three days.

Let’s have a look at the lineup of the designers for #Day 2
1.    Zaheer Abbas
2.    Jafferjees
3.    Gul Ahmed
4.    Amir Adnan
5.    Huma Adnan
6.    Nauman Arfeen
7.    Zainab Salman
8.     Ayesha Hashwani.

Top 3 Designers for Day 2 of #FPW16

Zaheer Abbas

Abbas presented a very “Basic” collection on the second day of the fashion week. Like the name suggests, minimalism was obvious in his work. He used pure cotton, especially white, and complemented the simple attires with accessories and reflective shades – just right to wear it to any summer party. You can also wear the plain shirts with any colorful cigarette pant, trouser or a scarf before you head out to make an indelible style statement.  Humaima Malik was the showstopper for Abbas.

Jafferjees

This was a beautiful addition to balance out the strong start of the day by Zaheer Abbas. Jafferjees preferred to stick to its signature style and showcased a huge variety of leather bags, purses and clutches that can be easily incorporated in our daily lives. The designer bags were presented in collaboration with Wardha Saleem’s clothes and the overall show was conceptualized by Nubain Ali. Cybil Chaudhry was the showstopper for Jafferjees.

Ayesha Farooq Hashwani (AFH)

AFH’s Oriental Blossom had a touch of the Chinese Culture.  The designer’s signature attention to details and intricate embroidery were the highlights of the collection. It was indeed the jaw-dropping collection of the night and with this amalgamation of old with  the modern, the show came to an end!
