Southern Fried Chicken

Prep time: 60 minutes (marinating required at least. 3
hours)
Ingredients
- Chicken drumsticks: 6 (with or without skin)
- Salt: to taste
- Vinegar: 2 tbsp
- Soy sauce: 2 tbsp
- Hot sauce: 4 tbsp
- Ginger & garlic paste: 1 tsp
- Black pepper: 2 tsp
- Red chili powder (optional): ½ tsp
- Baking powder: ½ tsp
- Eggs: 2
- All-purpose flour: 1-2 cups
Method:
Marinade:
- Put chicken drumsticks in a bowl
- Add in salt, vinegar, soy sauce, hot sauce, ginger &
garlic paste and 1 tsp black pepper in it
- Now mix properly and refrigerate for 3-4 hours
Coating:
- Prepare a mixture of flour, salt, 1 tsp black pepper, chili
powder and baking powder
- Beat two eggs and add in 2-3 tbsp of hot sauce or until the
eggs turn red
- Take out the drumsticks
- Coat the drumsticks in flour
- Dip them in eggs
- Again coat them in four
- Dust the excess flour and deep fry or until golden brown
- Serve with regular or chili garlic sauce
